My main outreach work is the Salomé comic book project bringing exoplanet research into schools. I was one of the scientific advisors for the second band and was the lead of its successful expansion to Chilean schools under ESO's patronage.

the Hunga Tonga–Hunga Ha'apai Volcanic Eruption

In this news article, we relate the impact of the Hunga Tonga–Hunga Ha'apai volcano eruption on 15 January 2022 on astronomical observations. The explosion had an energy equivalent to around 61 megatons of TNT and was observable for over a year.
