My main outreach work is the Salomé comic book project bringing exoplanet research into schools. I was one of the scientific advisors for the second band and am now the lead of its expansion to Chilean schools under ESO's patronage.
In this news article, we relate the impact of the Hunga Tonga–Hunga Ha'apai volcano eruption on 15 January 2022 on astronomical observations. The explosion had an energy equivalent to around 61 megatons of TNT and was observable for over a year.
